St James' Church, is a landmark for miles around and can be found at the north end
of the town. It is a magnificent example of
an early perpendicular wool church, rebuilt
in the 15th century.
The Cotswold Way starts in Chipping
Campden and offers just over 100 miles of magical walking, with long distance views
from the Cotswold escarpment, and
journeys through picturesque villages and
past famous ancient sites.
The Almshouses were built in 1612 at a cost
of £1,000 to provide accommodation for six poor men and six poor women from Chipping Campden, which they still do today.
The banqueting house for Old Campden
House built in 1613 by wealthy merchant
Sir Baptist Hicks. The house burned during the Civil War, but its Banqueting Houses survive.
